At Grace Church we are fed by God in many
ways. Below is a summary of the various ways we share the Lord
internally and externally:
Sacraments - A "catholic" understanding of
God's Grace active in at least seven ways, especially in Baptism and
Eucharist. The clergy instruct those receiving these means of grace.
Fellowship - More than socializing, it is sharing with one another our lives as well as our
day-to-day activities. Every season of the year provides occasions of such
fellowship: Advent caroling, Christmas giving, Twelfth Night reveling, the
Lenten Pancake Race, Easter dancing, Ascension dancing, Corpus Christi
Celebration and Summer picnicking.
Links to the Wider Church - We are linked to the wider
church through our participation in many Diocesan and Anglican societies and
activities.
Parish Visitation - Both the clergy and lay leadership
visit newcomers and parishioners in their homes. A parish "prayer
chain" links every member together in times of special need.
